Terms and Conditions for Africa Venture Safaris

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your booking and participation in tours provided by Africa Venture Safaris (the “Company”). By booking a tour with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Booking and Payment
2. Reservation: All bookings must be made through our official website, email, or through our authorized agents. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from Africa Venture Safaris.

2. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required to secure your booking. The balance is due  30 days prior to departure.

3. Payment Options: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit card, and other methods as specified on our website.

2. Price Changes

Prices for tours and services may vary due to changes in supplier costs, fuel prices, and other variables. We reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly but will notify you of any changes prior to your departure.

3. Cancellations and Amendments
4. Cancellation by Customer: Should you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing. The cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 30 days before departure: full refund minus deposit

• Between 15-30 days 50% of total cost

• Less than 15 days no refund

2. Amendments: Any amendments to your booking must be made in writing and are subject to availability. Fees may apply.

3. Cancellation by the Company: We reserve the right to cancel any tour for reasons beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political instability). In such cases, you will receive a full refund or an alternative tour of equivalent value.

4. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all clients. This should cover cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. Africa Venture Safaris is not liable for any loss or damage incurred during the trip.

5. Health and Safety
6. Health Requirements: Some destinations may have specific health requirements, such as vaccinations. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet these requirements.

2. Safety: Your safety is our priority. We will provide information regarding local safety guidelines, but you must exercise caution and follow the instructions of our guides at all times.

6. Liability

Africa Venture Safaris is committed to providing quality tours and services. However, we shall not be liable for any injury, illness, or loss of life, or for any loss or damage to personal property arising from events beyond our control.

7. Code of Conduct

While on tour, you are expected to:

• Treat wildlife, guides, and fellow travelers with respect.

• Follow all posted signs and guidelines.

• Refrain from any illegal or disruptive behavior.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kenya.

9. Changes to Terms

Africa Venture Safaris reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to bookings made after the date of the change.

Hot Air Balloon Ride Itinerary – Maasai Mara

Hot Air Balloon Ride & Full Day Safari

Early Morning: Hot Air Balloon Ride

• 5:30 AM – Wake up call and depart to the launch site.
• 6:00 AM – Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee/tea before your flight.
• 6:30 AM – Take-off for a breathtaking hot air balloon ride. (Flight duration: Approx. 1 hour)
• Experience the spectacular sunrise over the savannah and watch wildlife from the sky.

Post-Flight: Breakfast in the Wild

• 7:30 AM – Celebrate your landing with a bush breakfast served in the wild.
• Enjoy a traditional breakfast with a stunning view of the Mara.

Late Morning: Game Drive

• 9:00 AM – Continue your wildlife safari with a full-day game drive.
• Explore different regions of the Maasai Mara, spotting the Big Five and other unique wildlife before lunchtime.

Afternoon: Picnic Lunch

• 12:30 PM – Enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the park.
• Continue your game viewing after lunch.

Evening: Dinner & Relax

• 5:00 PM – Return to your lodge/camp for a leisurely evening.
• 7:00 PM – Dinner served at the lodge/camp.
• Overnight at your lodge/camp.

PRICE IN USD 500 PER PERSON.

Important Notes:

1. Booking: It’s advisable to book the hot air balloon flight in advance, as spots can fill up quickly.
2. Weather: Balloon rides are dependent on weather conditions, so keep an alternative plan for the day in case of cancellation due to wind or rain.
3. Safety: Listen to the safety briefing from your pilot before the flight. They are highly experienced and will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
